While PACE assessments are usually billed through your property tax bill, this year, there was a dispute with several county Tax Collectors who refused to put those on the tax bill. For the 2023 annual assessment you will need to make other arrangements to pay. You will receive an Assessment Installment bill by mail from the Florida PACE Funding Agency.
While PACE assessments are usually billed through your property tax bill, this year, there was a dispute with several county Tax Collectors who refused to put those on the tax bill.
We are hopeful we will get that dispute resolved so that the subsequent year’s assessments will appear on your tax bill. However, for the 2023 annual assessment, an Assessment Installment bill has been mailed to you by Florida PACE Funding Agency.
The Assessment Installment bill you received in the mail will contain a payment coupon (the bottom portion of the form). Please include that payment coupon with your check.
Be sure to write the APN (Parcel ID number) and your project ID on the memo line of your check. Both numbers can also be found on the Assessment Installment Bill. We have included a pre-addressed envelope to assist you with the mailing. Should you wish to wire the funds instead, you will also see banking instructions on the form to assist you with that.
Just like your tax bill, payments are accepted from Nov 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024. They are considered delinquent as of April 1, 2024.
You can contact your mortgage company to see if they will accept the Assessment Installment Bill from you to pay us directly. Should your mortgage company wish to get on a call with you and a representative from Home Run Financing, we are happy to help facilitate that…please call us at 800 231 6991 to set up that call.
You entered into a legally binding agreement with Florida PACE Funding Agency to finance the improvements to your property. As a result, a lien has been recorded on the property in a Notice of Assessment in your County’s Clerk of Court.
A failure to pay the assessment will be reported to the credit agencies and could negatively impact your credit score, in addition to penalties and interest being added to your assessment.
We have a team standing by to answer all your questions. We can assist you in English or Spanish! Please call 800 231 6991.
